Construction

As a part of our continued commitment to enhance our customer’s experience while attending an event at the Music City Center, we recently announced plans to enhance our public space and food and beverage offerings in the facility.

We have embarked on a twenty million dollar enhancement that will add an additional food and beverage "market" concept that will be located on the terrace in front of Exhibit Hall D.  Additionally we are adding concourse space in two areas: approximately 5,000 square feet in front of Exhibit Halls C and D and another 2,000 square feet by the Davidson Ballroom. As we have listened to our meeting planners’ feedback over the last three years, we’ve identified these as areas we can expand upon to better the customer experience.

We have begun construction on the market and exhibit hall concourse and we anticipate construction beginning on the Davidson Ballroom early spring. Both of these projects primarily occur on the exterior of the building. We anticipate all construction will be completed prior to the end of 2017.  We have a very aggressive construction schedule, so work will be performed daily.  We will install construction walls on the inside of the building to mitigate dust and noise as much as possible.  Again, most of the project timeline will involve work on the outside of the building.
