CONVENTION CENTER AUTHORITY ANNOUNCES NEW MEMBER

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Convention Center Authority announced the appointment today of a new member, David McMurry. McMurry was appointed by Mayor Megan Barry and confirmed by Metro Council last night.

David McMurry currently works for Roof Doctors in Commercial Business Development. He also is longtime member and now President of the Madison-Rivergate Area Chamber as well as an active board member of the Nashville LGBT Chamber and Historic Nashville, Inc.

“David has generously served the Nashville community for years and we are very excited to have him join the Convention Center Authority,” said Charles Starks, President/CEO of the Music City Center. “His enthusiasm and experience in sales, management and customer service make him a perfect fit and we look forward to having his valuable insight and expertise.”

The Music City Center, Nashville’s convention center, features a 353,143 square foot exhibit hall, the 57,500 square foot Karl F. Dean Grand Ballroom, and an 18,000 square foot Davidson Ballroom.
